Focus Manuel FD-Mount 35 mm SLR published by Canon in 1973. It was the prosumer model under the original F-1 and incorporated advanced electronics. This includes a hybrid shutter where certain speeds are governed mechanically and some use electronics. It has been designed to use two Mercury batteries PX625 1.35 V, but the camera has a bridge circuit allowing Modern 1.5 V. The original price (89,500 yen with 50 mm F1.4 S.S.C.) is the equivalent of around 1550 euros in 2023. Metal body available in black.
